Remembrance and Election Day

Due to my fat-cat "government" (crown corporation) job, I got today off work as a holiday for Remembrance Day. My mother, also being a public servant, gets the day off.

For the past couple of years, we've had this tradition of going for a hike on the Bruce Trail on this holiday (as well as others; see my last post). Today, we started at the Calcium Pits.
There was a group of old people on a tour, when we arrived at the Calcium Pits.

And with the people gone.


It was very rocky at times, as it is the nature of the Canadian Shield to be.
